Basic Qualifications for Fulltime Applicants (English Medium)
Three Passes in G.C.E. (A/L) in Bio-Science or Agricultural Science or Bio-System Technology or Mathematic Subjects.
Basic Qualifications for Parttime Applicants (Sinhala & English Medium) Three Passes in G.C.E. (A/L) in any subject stream with 03 years experience in the field of Agriculture.
or Five years experience in the field of Agriculture and pass in the GCE (O/L) including Sinhala, English, Science and Mathematic subjects.
or Any Other Qualifications accepted by the Senate of the University of Colombo. or
Applicants who completed a Diploma (NVQ 05) or Higher Diploma (NVQ 06) in Agriculture from recognized institutes can enter to the 2nd year or 3rd year (after completing bridging course).
