Bachelor of Science Honours in Nursing

Applicants should possess the following qualifications to register at the Level 5 of the Bachelor of Science Honours in Nursing Programme:

1. Obtained a minimum of the following:

• Diploma in Nursing or General Certificate in Nursing awarded by the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka, or
• Diploma in Nursing offered by the OUSL, or
• Three (03) years Diploma in Nursing awarded by any other institution recognized by the Ministry of Health or any other Government regulatory body in Sri Lanka or any other country with minimum of two (02) years working experience

AND • Obtained Minimum three (03) Pass grades in one sitting in the Science stream of study, at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination, Sri Lanka.

AND • Minimum Simple Pass (S) for English at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination, Sri Lanka, or
• An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate

AND • Pass the selection test and be eligible for admission based on the Merit list of the selection test marks.
