- in the Physical Science (mathematics) stream – Gonaduwage Maneth Banula Perera of the Royal College, Colombo
- in the Biology stream were claimed by Pramudi Bashani Munasinghe of the Sujatha Vidyalaya in Matara.
- in the Commerce stream – P.K. Kavidini Dilsarani Tharushika of the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya in Colombo.
The results of the 2022 (2023) G.C.E. Advanced Level examination have been released online, the Department of Examination announced today. Out of a total of 263,933 candidates, 166,938 (63.3%) have qualified to apply for the universities.
