ஆகஸ்ட் 4,5, 6 மற்றும் 7 ஆம் திகதிகளில் பாடசாலைக் மூடப்படும் என கல்வி அமைச்சர் இதன் போது தெரிவித்தார்.

The school terms must be changed as below
First term must be fifty days from January to mid of March in this term sportsmeet and divisional level language competitions and school trips can be arranged. The first term holiday is two weeks from mid of March to end of march.
Second term starts from April first to mid of June it contains fifty days in this term term exam and provincial level competitions can be arranged. The term holiday starts from mid of June to end of June.
Third term starts from July first to mid of September it contains fifty days in this term term exam and national level competitions can be arranged. Term leave starts from mid of September to end of September in this period A/L Exam can be arranged.
Fourth term October first to mid of December in this term final or year end exam and national level competitions can be arranged. Term holiday starts mid of December to end of December or first of December in this period O/L and grade 5 scholarship exam can be arranged.
