Short Course in Korean Language
The short courses in Korean Language are designed for students who need the Korean language for general, practical or social purposes. These short courses are designed to facilitate language learning in a step-by-step format in a conducive learning environment.
These courses will be offered at two levels:
The Basic Course is ideal for complete beginners as well as those who wish to enhance their basic knowledge and understanding of the Korean language. It will offer an introduction to Hangeul (learning the Korean alphabet) as well as practical aspects such as greetings, asking questions, and job and everyday-related vocabulary.
- Intermediate Level
The Intermediate Course builds on the knowledge acquired from the Basic Course offered by the Department of Language Studies previously.
All classes for both levels will be conducted online (via Google Classroom/ Zoom) and students will be required to complete 01 test online, and 2 tests (including the Final Exam) on-site at the OUSL Colombo Regional Centre in Nawala, Nugegoda.
